Kalau dibilang tua sih, aku tidak juga. Tetapi kepikunanku sudah menjadi-jadi. Sering kali aku kehilangan anak kunci yang barusan aku pakai. Kehilangan HP yang baru digunakan. Dan sebagainya.
Malam ini kepikunan itu nyata kembali. Sewaktu PLN padam, aku bermain ke Klinik Adinda di sebelah, ngobrol-ngobrol dengan pasien. Hingga pukul 12 belum ada tanda-tanda listrik akan hidup. Akhirnya aku mengundurkan diri.
Saat akan tegak itulah, kusadari belakang celanaku kosong. Dompet hilang. Celakanya aku lupa, kapan terakhir dompet itu berada di sakuku. Jadi, kira-kira di mana hilangnya? Lebih pikun lagi, aku tahu celana yang saat itu aku pakai, sakunya dangkal. Biasa, kalau dompet tiba-tiba jatuh.
Dalam keadaan ekonomi yang agak lesu ini, sedikit uang sangat berarti. Maka aku pun berputar-putar. Tetapi, karena tidak ingat di mana terakhir aku menyentuh dompet, aku tidak tahu harus mulai mencari di mana. Padahal, mungkin saja dompet itu aku sembunyikan pada suatu tempat.

I think this is a great post. One thing that I find the most helpful is number five. Sometimes when I write, I just let the flow of the words and information come out so much that I loose the purpose. It’s only after editing when I realize what I’ve done. There’s defiantly a lot of great tips here I’m going to try to be more aware of.
